21 months - bali

we escaped town to bali recently for a 5D4N stay at the conrad. it was a much needed break from work for me and i was really looking forward to spending time with the hubby and baby. without having to worry about housework, laundry, food or work.

i was also looking forward to lots of time at the pool and beach. more or less knew that we wouldn't be leaving the hotel much, so was mentally prepared to miss out on the roast duck and pig, and seeing any rice paddies.

the holiday was great ... starting from spending a few hours more than we thought in the airport transit area. baby had great fun clambering around the play areas in T1 and T3, and also got to see the butterflies in the butterfly garden. she slept on the plane (both to and fro bali) giving us time to rest. baby would wake up by 730 each morning but would also take long afternoon naps after being tired out from the morning in the pool. she also talked all the time everytime and would also watch enough youtube and peppa pig videos to give us time to chill.

we also had more fries ("M" to her) in those few days in bali than we've had in a long time.
