8 weeks - million dollar smile

baby's getting more and more responsive nowadays. she smiles readily at us and even talks to us in her own language. it is hard not to want to smother her with kisses every time she looks at you and flashes her gummy smile. her eyes smile as well. so cute!
aside from crying when she wants her milk (less often nowadays) or when she is letting off steam before she falls asleep, baby is rather even-tempered and calm. she can spend quite a bit of time on her own on the playmat or even in her rocker chair just looking around and talking to her toys. can't ask for a more well-behaved baby, seriously.
and just last night, she slept from 8.30pm all the way to 7.00am! turned in around midnight and so got a good 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep which felt really good.
