today, i left baby at home with the hubby and mother in law, let down my hair (literally, as it is always tied up in a ponytail or bun at home for practical reasons nowadays), put on a dress i haven't worn since i was 3 months pregnant, and went out. to town no less. and met up with some gal pals over a buffet lunch where i made up for not being able to have sashimi for the past 9 months and more.
for once, it felt good to be squeezing with the weekend crowd on the train and everywhere. it felt good to be out and about doing what i haven't been able to do in the past 7 weeks for a few hours.
i came home refreshed and all ready to be the mum in ponytail and go-to-market clothes again.
