6 months - her first CNY

baby's first CNY was spent in the company of many relatives and babies/toddlers, and i think she relished the attention. she was ok having others carry her most of the time, and would also entertain them with her "talking" and "singing" ... that probably made the grown ups happy, and she got quite a lot of praise from them.
we also got to "outsource" baby for a bit as the relatives were all eager to shower her with attention ... and got to have some adult conversations while baby entertained the relatives. :D that's one big advantage of house visits when your baby is ok to go with strangers for short periods of time without fussing - one gets a break!
this was probably one of the more enjoyable CNY for me in recent years. i think it has a lot to do with having baby in tow ...
