i can see why the firstborn will always hold a very special place in his/her parents' hearts.
without h, we would have missed out on so much laughter and joy and learning moments that only having a child and bringing up a child can bring. always knew it was one kind of special to have children but i could never have fathomed the depth of specialness until i actually experienced it.
am looking forward to having baby n join the family TOMORROW!! but also trying to store away as many precious memories of our time spent with h as an only child.
