5 months - little miss sunshine

baby has been all smiles and giggles this week. she's a cheerful baby most of the time, but she has been exceptionally bubbly and expressive of late. recently, she had been sticking out her tongue while smiling and blowing saliva bubbles quite often. i think she finds it fun and she seems to get a kick when she elicits a response from us.
she still HATES being carried to sleep for her naps though. the strategy so far has been to carry her in an upright position until she nods off on her own. not the easiest thing to do now that she's strong enough to push her body away from mine using her arm, but still possible. we also sometimes time her nap immediately after her feed just so that it's easier for her to fall asleep. so much for the eat-play-sleep routine!
